Job summary

The QC Test Track Heavy Equipment Operator role at AtWork Group involves operating newly manufactured heavy equipment on a controlled QC test track to verify track, steering, and overall machine performance.

The position requires following established testing procedures, performing basic pre-operation checks, and reporting any mechanical concerns to Quality Control and manufacturing teams. On-site work in Florida includes exposure to outdoor conditions and adherence to PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Bobcats, skid steers, compact track loaders, forklifts, construction equipment, or similar machinery preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver heavy equipment in repetitive driving patterns.
• Recognize unusual equipment performance and communicate concerns clearly.
• Follow written and verbal QC testing instructions.
• Strong safety and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bobcats, skid steers, compact track loaders, and other heavy equipment on a QC test track.
• Drive equipment through test maneuvers to evaluate track and steering performance.
• Test forward/reverse movement, turning, braking, acceleration, and machine responsiveness.
• Observe alignment, tension, steering, and overall performance.
• Identify and report mechanical or operational concerns.
• Follow testing procedures and communicate results to QC and manufacturing personnel.
• Perform basic pre-operation inspections before testing.
