Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Mechanic Quality Control Technician in Orlando, FL to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and validate heavy equipment prior to delivery. You will read blueprints, document findings, and ensure safety and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities include visual and dielectric inspections, QA testing, issue resolution, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and adherence to safety policies in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment, aerial devices, commercial trucks, diesel equipment, or related mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Valid driver's license required. CDL a plus
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must provide personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, mechanical, operational, and dielectric inspections on completed units.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to verify safety, performance, and compliance standards.
• Document inspection results, test data, and quality findings.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and assist in resolving quality and warranty-related issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Investigate customer quality concerns and support corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate with service, and management teams to improve product quality and reliability.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
