Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, braking, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems.

You will work with modern trucks (Mack, Freightliner, Peterbilt, McNeilus, Heil), perform safety checks, complete DVIRs, and pursue ASE certification with reimbursements and wage increases. In-house training and tool/boot allowances support career growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on heavy- and light-duty trucks.
• Communicate issues with managers/drivers and discuss preventive techniques.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Utilize vehicle systems to interpret failures and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and dependability.
