Job summary

University of Louisville Golf Club is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the course, operate large equipment, and support maintenance teams. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a valid driver’s license, with a pesticide applicator license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the university.
• Kentucky applicator’s license to handle pesticides.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May require nights, weekends, holidays or winter breaks.

Responsibilities

• Mow fairways, roughs, greens and tees.
• Operate turf equipment (mowers, vacs, aerifiers, sprayers).
• Maintain and report equipment issues to the mechanic.
• Perform basic watering and bunker maintenance.
• Assist with course setup and basic clubhouse maintenance.
