Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks an Expert Farsi Instructor to support a high-priority mission. These are full-time, in-person roles combining classroom teaching and language assessment for advanced learners (ILR 2–3).

Candidates must have TS/SCI with polygraph and a track record in adult education. We sponsor clearance after language assessments; strong English proficiency and knowledge of geopolitical and cultural contexts are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution or from an institution in the country where the target language is spoken.
• Minimum of 10+ years of direct adult teaching experience; or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to pass an advanced English proficiency translation assessment at a level 5 (Expert Level).
• Ability to achieve ILR Level 5/5/5 in speaking, listening, and reading in the target language.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical, cultural, regional, and ethnic dynamics of the relevant language areas.
• Proficient with MS Office and skilled in online research.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person instruction to advanced‑level adult students (ILR 2–3).
• Apply linguistic expertise and teaching skills to support critical mission requirements.
• Summarize, gist, translate, triage, and perform quality control or editing of foreign‑language materials into accurate, professional American English.
• Deliver instruction that incorporates cultural, regional, and geopolitical context relevant to the target language.
• Maintain instructional excellence and adapt teaching materials to meet learner needs.
