Job summary

Resorts World Hudson Valley is seeking a Cook to ensure top quality food preparation and presentation across kitchen stations, outlets, banquets, and parties during assigned shifts, in line with the Company’s specifications.

The role requires following recipes, maintaining sanitation, proper storage, stock awareness, guest service when needed, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers opportunities in a fast-paced hospitality environment within our New York casino resort.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, and garnishes all food.
• Maintains refrigeration and dry storage areas.
• Follows recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary area in accordance with health regulations.
• Receives, thaws, stores products properly; manages prep area sanitation.
• Assists with guest requests when needed.
• Reports kitchen mishaps and safety concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of the menu and quality of food produced.
• Cooks dishes under supervision of the Chef.
