Job summary

NeighborWorks America is seeking a Senior Manager of Event Strategy and Design to lead comprehensive planning for training events ranging from intimate gatherings to large conferences. The role reports to the Senior Director and oversees strategy, design, procurement, and risk management across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• CMP certification preferred.
• 6+ years of nonprofit meeting planning experience with large events (2,000+ attendees).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and evaluation of Training Division events.
• Develop event strategies for virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and contracts for events.
• Collaborate with Marketing for materials and timelines.
• Ensure risk, compliance, and quality throughout events.
• Capture and analyze data to improve future events.
