Job summary

NeighborWorks America, a national nonprofit, seeks a Senior Manager, Event Strategy and Design in a hybrid work environment to lead end-to-end training events from small gatherings to conferences for thousands of attendees.

You will drive strategic event design, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Training teams to deliver exceptional attendee experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of meeting planning experience in a nonprofit or similar environment, managing events of 2,000+ attendees.
• CMP certification preferred; strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in planning, execution, and evaluation of Training Division events.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery within budget and schedule.
• Design engaging event programs to enhance attendee engagement and knowledge retention.
• Lead procurement, vendor contracts, and risk management for events.
• Oversee site selection, venue contracts, and transportation/A/V needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to produce timely event materials and communications.
