Job summary

Qualifications

At least 1–3 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience.
Experience in employment law, civil rights, police brutality law or municipal liability preferred.
Open to candidates from personal injury or civil rights backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Represent workers challenging discrimination, harassment, and wage theft in class actions and individual litigation.
Draft mediation statements, default motions, discovery motions and oppositions to dispositive motions.
Assist partner with preparation and participate in negotiations for private mediations and settlement conferences.
Take and defend depositions of witnesses in employment discrimination matters and related cases; prepare witnesses for depositions and cross-examinations.
Draft state and federal complaints and manage statutory and deadlines.
