Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly experienced Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA3) in the Ft. Meade/Annapolis Junction area of Maryland.

The role requires active TS/SCI with poly and a strong background in network security operations and cyber defense, with opportunities to develop tradecraft and coordinate with government and military partners. Responsibilities include detecting and responding to threats, implementing mitigations, and communicating findings to a broad set of intelligence

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
• Security clearance requirement is mandatory for access to national security information.
• Experience in cyber defense, network security operations, or related fields is required.
• Military cyber training programs such as JCAC, UCT, NWBC, INWT may count toward experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats using IDS, firewalls, logs, and host data.
• Develop and implement mitigations to strengthen network defenses.
• Support data transport environments including wired, wireless, and cloud services.
• Build expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, and advanced defense techniques.
• Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to align priorities.
• Apply analytical methods to form hypotheses and provide actionable insights.
• Document findings and tradecraft for teammates and stakeholders.
