Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA) at Fort Meade. You will detect and respond to threats, develop mitigations, and support diverse network environments while collaborating with government and military teams to protect critical systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with an Associate's degree, OR 8+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR 6+ years with a Master's degree, OR 4+ years with a Ph.D.
• Experience includes network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, digital forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering.
• Completion of military cyber training programs such as JCAC, UCT, NWBC, INWT, or Cyber Defense Operations may count toward experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats using IDS, firewalls, and logs.
• Develop and implement mitigations to strengthen network defenses.
• Support data transport environments, including wired and wireless networks.
• Build expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, and IoT.
• Collaborate with government, military personnel to align priorities.
• Apply analytical methods to derive actionable insights.
• Document and communicate findings to teammates and stakeholders.
