Job summary

Zero Impact Builders is seeking a hardworking Concrete Professional to join our construction team. You will pour, spread, and smooth concrete, plan and build forms, and finish surfaces with sealants and waterproofing according to specifications.

Travel within the area and extended hours may be required. The role requires experience in concrete work, knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience in construction as concrete laborer or finisher.
• Knowledge of safety protocols governing the industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Physically fit with good dexterity.
• Willingness to travel and work on weekends.
• Team player with reliable transportation within 70 miles.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete.
• Designing and setting up forms.
• Molding expansion joints and edges as per instructions.
• Adding stones, colors, and other decorative items to finish surfaces.
• Using waterproofing solutions and sealants to protect concrete.
• Estimating the number of materials required and project timelines.
• Reviewing and repairing concrete structures.
• Clearing the worksite of debris, stones, and equipment before and after work.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Placing orders and arranging transportation of materials.
• Other duties as assigned, willing to pitch in on other trades on site.
