Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of install mechanic experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Willing to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret State Mechanical Codes.
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently install equipment and duct work.
• Complete daily paperwork and record materials used on each job.
• Coordinate with general contractors in other trades on installing equipment and duct work.
• Layout roof curbs.
• Fabricate duct fittings and lay out job without supervision.
• Read blueprints and lay out duct.
• Create a Material list off of blueprints.
• Perform all jobs with safety first in mind.
