Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Typically 3-5 years of heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete rebuild/repair of major systems in combat vehicles.
• Diagnoses defects and determines repair methods and trade techniques.
• Performs testing and adjustments to correct deficiencies and ensure readiness.
• Disassembles, inspects, replaces parts, and reassembles assemblies.
• Operates and tests power packs, engines, transmissions, and related equipment.
