Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver meticulous vehicle repairs and a superior customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace parts and glass, weld and repaint to factory specs, and ensure work orders meet time guidelines.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. The role requires safety awareness, the ability to read job orders, and teamwork with other shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school preferred.
• Successful completion of a technical program or apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and follow repair procedures.
• Experience with auto body repair tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles while ensuring quality control.
• Replaces damaged sections or parts with new or aftermarket items; repairs glass and interior parts.
• Welds, fits parts, and preps/repaints to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Collaborates with other shop personnel to meet KPIs and customer expectations.
