Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists (MDLAs) to analyze foreign language material for SIGINT missions. The role supports the Language Analysis Development Program or direct hire into analytic offices, with tours and training in the Cryptologic Training System.

ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening is required. Responsibilities include translating and interpreting data, researching cultures, and producing written assessments.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree acceptable in any field; 1+ year relevant experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related fields.
• Experience in intelligence analysis or cybersecurity fields is considered.
• Formal or informal leadership experience acceptable for Full Performance level.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language material.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor or lead other Language Analysts where applicable.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of language products and reports.
