• One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level.
• Experience enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise.
• Use of intelligence techniques to identify threats and perform risk assessments.
• Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.

Responsibilities

• Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using proper methods.
• Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and international shipping.
• Utilizing intelligence techniques and performing risk assessments for violations and security.
• Conducting interviews to gain information for appropriate action.
• Working as CBPO across duty locations with eligibility for incentives and benefits.
