Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II to perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound services, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress testing for adults. You will prepare equipment, prep patients, explain procedures, review images, and report findings to support accurate diagnosis.

Essential functions include performing varied echocardiography procedures, identifying abnormalities, assisting in procedures, maintaining the lab, and ensuring ICAEL

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Cardiovascular program or 2 years of work experience above minimum.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Certification: BLS within 30 days of hire; RCS or RDCS required.
• RCS or RDCS must be active at hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and obtain clinical history.
• Perform basic to advanced echocardiography and measure results.
• Identify cardiac abnormalities and expand the exam as needed.
• Assist physicians in procedures and operating rooms.
• Perform transesophageal studies with cardiologist.
• Record statistics and maintain the Echocardiography Lab equipment.
