Job summary

Briarcliff Manor School District is seeking a Modified Baseball Head Coach for Spring 27 (2). The position reports to the athletic director and supports a staff of coaches in the athletic department.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to organize and supervise a comprehensive sports program, with prior successful coaching experience and strong knowledge of baseball techniques. The coach should model exemplary conduct and mentor student-athletes toward both athletic and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport (baseball).
• Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of baseball and stay current on new theories and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for success.
• Model and promote character development, self-discipline, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.
• Coordinate with athletic director and principals to support the program and schedule activities.
• Supervise and support high school and middle school coaches within the program.
