Job summary

Longfellow Hotel is seeking a warm, hospitable bartender for Five of Clubs. You will craft cocktails, answer questions about ingredients, and provide above-and-beyond service to guests at the hotel bar.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, are comfortable with menus and upselling, and can work weekends/holidays. Full-time benefits apply for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum two years bartending or related work.
• Must obtain BABLO or local alcohol server certifications.
• Hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Stand for entire shift and communicate effectively.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wines, spirits and cocktails per menu and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of ingredients and answer guest questions.
• Engage guests with contextual descriptions of drinks and menu items.
• Set up and clean service areas; assist with tasks as needed.
• Adhere to Longfellow and SLH rules and standards.
