Benihana Beaverton is seeking a professional Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver a premium bar experience. You will engage guests, anticipate needs, and maintain high energy while executing flawless drinks.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of mixology, a passion for guest service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. This on-site role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively, high-standard Benihana environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and craft beer.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays or bar equipment as needed.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must follow all alcohol service guidelines and represent Benihana professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve signature cocktails and beverages to high-quality standards.
• Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails.
• Engage with guests, provide menu recommendations, and create an interactive experience.
• Process drink orders accurately into the POS system.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and process payments as needed.
• Set up and stock the bar; keep it clean before, during, and after shifts.
• Garnish drinks, replenish snacks, and present beverages attractively.
• Assist with food orders for bar guests and ensure timely delivery.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain sanitation standards.
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to management.
• Perform blind cash drops in the safe at shift end.
• Support front-of-house with food running, bussing tables, and hosting assistance.
