Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often; carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Strong communication skills; punctual with consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests for all events.
• Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests.
• Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations.
• Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Works independently during slower times.
• Support safe work environment and practices.
• Engage with patrons to ensure a positive guest experience.
