Job summary

Ember Kitchen is seeking a Banquet Attendant to support catered meetings, corporate functions, and special events throughout the building. Responsibilities include setup, food and beverage service, guest interaction, event maintenance, and breakdown following Ember Kitchen standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Attendants engage with guests, anticipate needs, and contribute to memorable experiences from setup through final cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Set up conference rooms, meeting spaces, dining areas, buffets, beverage stations, and service areas according to BEOs.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, place settings, signage, and equipment as directed.
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready prior to service.
• Deliver and serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
• Monitor presentation, temperatures, and cleanliness of service areas.
• Clear dishes and service items promptly and professionally.
• Assist with coffee service and meeting refreshments.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Greet guests and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a positive, professional appearance at all times.
• Represent Ember Kitchen with hospitality during interactions.
• Monitor event spaces during service and refresh as needed.
• Assist with room resets and transitions between events.
• Break down spaces and store equipment after events.
• Complete inventory sign-out sheets and assist with post-event cleanup.
