Job summary

Hei Hotels Inc. at The Stoneleigh in Dallas, Texas is seeking a part-time banquet bartender to assist the banquet team, serving guests during events and ensuring a positive guest experience.

You will set up bars, mix drinks to guidelines, adhere to alcohol-service rules, and help maintain a clean, stocked workspace. The role requires good guest communication, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods; prior hotel or bar experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience or similar preferred.
• Good communication with guests.
• Basic knowledge of serving alcoholic beverages.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use bar tools, garnish, glassware and stock.
• Ability to read and follow product labeling instructions for safe handling.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with staff and patrons.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Check Banquet Event Orders to determine function, guest count and bar type.
• Set up portable bar in function area per policies.
• Make and serve drinks to guests following guidelines and safety rules.
• Follow state, federal and company alcohol-service requirements.
• Clear tables and remove trash/liquor, return bar to storeroom.
• Breakdown and clean bar; store equipment properly.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
