Job summary

The Stoneleigh in Dallas is seeking a part-time Banquet Bartender to support banquet functions with friendly, timely service. You will set up portable bars, mix drinks, and ensure beverage service aligns with hotel policies and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have hotel or banquet experience, strong guest communication, basic beverage knowledge, and the ability to stand for long periods while maintaining high service standards. Benefits include competitive hotel perks and staff programs.

Qualifications

• Hotel or equivalent banquet service experience required or preferred.
• Strong guest communication and service orientation.
• Basic knowledge of beverages and bar operations.
• Ability to handle glassware, knives, garnishes, ice, and stock safely.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for serving alcohol.
• Good math skills for making correct drink orders and tab handling.

Responsibilities

• Check Banquet Event Orders to determine function, guest count and bar type.
• Set up portable bar in function area per policies.
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and safety controls.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
• Clear and reset bar area; return equipment to storage after functions.
• Maintain clean, organized bar and assist with other duties as assigned.
