Job summary

Nashville Door is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to diagnose, repair, and install commercial doors and entrance systems in our Nashville, TN service area. You will represent the company in the field, work with a tight-knit team, and uphold our safety and quality standards.

Requirements include 2+ years on automatic/manual door experience, AAADM certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. Overtime and on-call rotations apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years installing or servicing automatic and manual commercial doors
• Able to diagnose mechanical and low-voltage issues
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Must lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments
• Valid driver's license and clean record; pass background check and drug screen
• AAADM Certification required

Responsibilities

• Service & Install: Repair, install, and maintain automatic doors, manual storefronts, and other entrance products on-site.
• Customer Communication: Meet with customers before and after work to review scope and recommendations.
• Workflow & Documentation: Complete dispatches, work orders, notes and time logs in electronic notes; submit parts requests.
• Inventory Care: Manage parts on the service vehicle and keep the jobsite clean and safe.
• Safety & Quality: Follow OSHA, AAADM, and company safety standards; ensure doors meet code.
