Job summary

Nashville Door is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to diagnose, repair, and install commercial door systems in facilities across Middle-Tennessee. You’ll work on automatic, manual storefronts, revolving doors, and ensure code compliance with safety and quality standards.

We value problem-solving, teamwork, and a growth mindset; AAADM certification is preferred and we support ongoing training. This is a full-time field role with overtime and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing automatic and manual commercial doors.
• AAADM certification or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Service and install: repair, install, and maintain automatic doors, storefronts, and other entrance products on-site.
• Customer communication: meet with customers before and after work to review scope, findings, and recommendations.
• Documentation: complete dispatches, work orders, notes and time logs accurately; submit parts requests and paperwork promptly.
• Inventory care: manage parts on your service vehicle and keep the jobsite clean and safe.
• Safety & quality: follow OSHA, AAADM, and company safety standards; ensure doors operate to code.
