Job summary

Lane Valente Industries in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair ADA operators, manual and automatic doors, and related hardware.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in automatic door installation or service, familiarity with storefronts and door hardware, and a clean driving record. AAADM certification is a plus; strong mechanical aptitude and customer-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Experience with commercial doors, hardware, storefront doors, and door closers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Clean driving record for company vehicle operation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry for partition framing with metal/wood studs and installation of doors/windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial doors and door hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in team or independent work.
• Ensure attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide excellent customer service and responsiveness.
