Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and high-quality repair of each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition.

The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly while aligning with KPI targets, and serving as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer required.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles ensuring quality and speed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory-specified standards.
• Inspections to ensure work meets labor time guidelines and KPIs.
