Job summary

Alpha is redefining the school day with AI-powered 1-on-1 learning and high-expectation mentorship. This role centers on motivating students, coaching them through resistance, and building life-skills that translate beyond the classroom.

You will spend about 40% in 1-on-1 coaching, 40% in structured workshops, and 20% on morning kickoffs to set a high-performance culture. In-person at multiple CA campuses and other US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in coaching, mentoring, or leadership roles.
• Ability to design and deliver multiweek life-skills workshops with progression and measurable mastery.
• Willing to work in-person at a US Alpha campus (Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; South Bay, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; NYC) and legally able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Run 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions using analytics to diagnose blockers and set ambitious goals.
• Deliver structured life-skills workshops and assess mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass system.
• Set the cultural tone each morning with focused kickoffs to reinforce high-performance expectations.
• Track student progress in real time and adapt coaching strategies based on data.
• Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards, consistency, and motivation plans.
