Job summary

Alpha is hiring for elite mentors to coach K-12 students with a background of excellence in athletics or related fields. This role centers on motivation, coaching, and maintaining a culture of high achievement rather than delivering curriculum.

You will conduct 1-on-1 and small-group coaching, lead structured life-skills workshops, and set daily cadence across multiple Alpha campuses. Relocation support is provided for in-person work in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional achievement in a globally recognized domain (e.g., national/international medals, top-tier university, elite firm)
• 3+ years of experience in student coaching, youth mentoring, athletic coaching, or leadership roles
• Ability to design and deliver engaging multiweek life-skills workshops with clear progression
• Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus (Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; South Bay, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; NYC) with relocation support
• Legal right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Drive motivation, growth, and life-skill mastery for students at Alpha campuses
• Deliver life-skills workshops and assess mastery using Alpha's Test2Pass system
• Set the culture each morning with focused kickoffs emphasizing high-performance
• Track progress in real time and adjust coaching based on data
• Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards and consistency
