Job summary

Gunnison County is seeking an Eligibility Technician to deliver general CBMS program services across food, financial and medical assistance. Duties include initiating applications, conducting interactive interviews, and managing ongoing eligibility determinations.

Responsibilities cover case management, re-determinations, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. A Colorado driver’s license and relevant IC S training are expected; Spanish skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care, administration, management or human behavioral sciences.
• One year of experience including customer service and the ability to learn new business technologies.
• Spanish language skill is preferred.

Pay Rate

The hourly pay range is $24.19 to $27.54, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

*The County pays monthly on the last weekday of the month.*

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Must complete IC S 100, IC S 200 and IC S 700 within the first year of employment.

Qualifications/Education

• Bachelor’s degree in health care, administration, management or human behavioral sciences.
• One‑year previous working experience which should include customer service, and a demonstrated ability to use and learn new business technologies.
• Or any combination of education and experience that Gunnison County
• deems appropriate to perform the duties of this position.
