Responsibilities

• Update demographics and/or insurance information in the billing system based on feedback.
• Determine insurance carrier and billing information from medical records for updates.
• Use Centricity or payor sites to verify data for edits.
• Request additional insurance data from carriers when needed.
• Identify and resolve complex edits from multiple sources.
• Report issues impacting billing quality to improve accuracy.
• Maintain adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
