Job summary

Moses Lake Community Health Center is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to enroll patients with insurance and assist with financial aid for pharmacy, medical and dental services. You will provide high-quality service with warmth, empathy, and professionalism, supporting the CCR team in administrative tasks.

The role requires strong communication, comfort with bilingual Spanish or Russian, and the ability to adapt to practice management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and speak Spanish and/or Russian.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service, information and support to patients and colleagues on the phone and in person.
• Manages medical and behavioral health appointment scheduling according to established procedures.
• Adapts to changes in systems, workflows and processes, including participating in employee training.
• Complete continuing education credits to maintain In Person Navigator certification.

The Eligibility Specialist is also accountable for important administrative and clerical functions to support the CCR team.

The Eligibility Specialist is also accountable for important administrative and clerical functions to support the CCR team.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service, information and support to patients and colleagues on the phone and in person.


• Manages medical and behavioral health appointment scheduling according to established procedures.


• Successfully adapts to changes in the EHF and practice management systems, work flows and processes, and improvement efforts, including participating in employee training.


• Complete necessary continuing education credits and trainings to maintain In Person Navigator certification.

Requirements

• Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.


• Ability to read and speak Spanish and/or Russian is required.
