Job summary

Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. is seeking an Eligibility Manager to lead eligibility determination and benefit administration across TANF, General Assistance, Burial, Childcare, and related programs.

The role supervises Eligibility Technicians and ensures timely, compliant processing. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian community needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Business Management, or related field.
• Two years of experience in personnel management.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Two years of experience in budget management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to eligibility staff and supervise Technicians I–IV and Lead Eligibility Specialist.
• Oversee data entry and processing for multiple assistance programs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and grant requirements.
• Prepare quarterly statistics and program reports.
• Manage program budgets and track expenditures.
