Job summary

Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. seeks experienced Case Managers I–IV to support Alaska Native participants across TANF, General Assistance, and related programs. You will assess needs, develop self-sufficiency plans, and coordinate services with internal and external partners to promote client success.

The role requires strong communication, cultural awareness, and the ability to work in home, community, and office settings throughout Alaska.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for Case Manager I/II; Associate's degree for Case Manager III; Bachelor's for Case Manager IV.
• SOAR certification for Case Manager III.
• Experience with TANF, General Assistance, and disability-related services.
• Experience serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active participant caseload and provide comprehensive case management.
• Conduct assessments to identify strengths, barriers, and develop self-sufficiency plans.
• Provide one-on-one coaching for job search strategies and life-management skills.
• Coordinate internal and external referrals and ensure follow-up.
• Document participant interactions, progress, and outcomes in databases.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes monthly.
