Job summary

Arizona Department of Economic Security is seeking an Eligibility Interviewer for a full-time, in-office role in Arizona. You will determine eligibility for Nutrition Assistance, Medical Assistance, and Cash Assistance, assisting clients in-person and by phone while navigating multiple computer systems.

Qualifications

• One year of experience performing eligibility reviews or one year of customer service experience.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in-person and by telephone in a fast-paced office environment.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals and families.
• Collect and gather information to conduct interviews and determine eligibility.
• Complete the application and interview process by data entry across multiple screens.
• Adhere to agency standards measured by metrics, attendance, service levels, accuracy and timeliness.
