Pascua Yaqui Tribe is seeking an Eligibility Certification Clerk to determine eligibility for FDPIR and make referrals to other services. The role involves reviewing forms, maintaining records, and coordinating with Tribal departments to ensure compliant service delivery.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in social services or related fields. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualificações

• Strong communication with clients and staff.
• Ability to conduct interviews and collect accurate information.
• Experience with data entry and record-keeping.
• Understanding of eligibility programs and confidentiality requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients in filling out FDPIR eligibility forms and documents.
• Conduct eligibility screening and determine eligibility according to regulations.
• Enter household information into the Food Integrated Management System (IFMS).
• Review monthly income and certify households for a limited timeframe.
• Maintain confidential files and ensure secure storage of applicant information.
• Coordinate services with Tribal departments and external agencies; travel to remote sites as needed.
