Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Social Worker I to manage a caseload within a tribal social services program in Tucson. The role involves determining benefits under regulations, educating clients, making referrals, and tracking client progress.

Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration with tribal and external partners are essential. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing forms, monitoring status, and developing plans of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management and human services settings.
• Ability to assess client needs and prepare documentation.
• Knowledge of program regulations and eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and referrals for community members.
• Assist clients with program documentation and forms.
• Maintain regular client contact via visits and calls.
• Develop service plans and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with tribal departments and outside agencies.
• Provide crisis interventions as needed.
• Prepare progress reports and evaluate eligibility.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
