Job summary

Lerch Bates is seeking an Elevator Consultant to join our Vertical Transportation team in Texas. This role supports a broad range of projects involving elevators, escalators, moving walkways, modernization programs, equipment assessments, maintenance audits, design consulting, and construction administration services.

The Elevator Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to building owners, architects, contractors, and project teams by delivering technical expertise and practical solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in elevator/vertical transportation projects.
• Experience with elevator modernization, inspections, or design.
• Strong knowledge of vertical transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage vertical transportation projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communication.
• Provide technical recommendations on elevators, escalators, moving walks.
• Prepare project updates and client communications.
• Travel to support project requirements.
