Job summary

TK Elevator in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Supervisor- Test Tower to lead engineering and mechanical technicians in testing, fabrication, and installation of elevator systems. You will plan, assign, and monitor daily work to meet schedules and ensure safety and quality.

You will guide testing methodologies, oversee electrical and mechanical tests, and contribute to continuous improvement while coordinating with engineers and senior staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in mechanical/electrical/industrial tech; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in elevator systems, mechanical or electrical testing, or lab operations.
• 3+ years of supervision or team leadership experience.
• Experience with elevator product development and R&D testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASME A17.1/CSA B44 codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team handling testing, fabrication, assembly, repair, and installation.
• Plan daily work to meet project schedules and engineering milestones.
• Provide technical guidance with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews and development planning for staff.
• Oversee testing of elevator subsystems, assemblies, and complete systems in the test tower.
• Coordinate installation, testing methodologies, and documentation of results.
• Ensure compliance with lab standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, manufacturing, and quality teams.
