Job summary

TK Elevator in New Jersey seeks an experienced Superintendent-Repair to oversee branch repair operations, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness. You’ll schedule repairs, manage materials, and monitor manpower while upholding a strong safety culture.

You will lead mechanics and apprentices, review reports, and coordinate with regional teams to optimize schedules and data accuracy. A degree or equivalent management experience is required, with strong reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence; present information to management and customers.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract variables.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily repair operations run efficiently and cost effectively.
• Schedule repairs and manage material requisitions.
• Monitor manpower needs and assign tasks.
• Lead safety programs and conduct safety audits.
• Participate in backlog meetings with Regional repair coordinators to update schedules.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices and perform site audits.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Two years' branch management experience
