Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Repair Superintendent to drive productivity and performance of repair projects for the Seattle branch. You will oversee field operations, customer satisfaction, and overall business management, ensuring safety and on-time delivery across multiple projects.

The role requires 5+ years in elevator operations or field leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years elevator industry experience or field leadership in a similar industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage expectations with customers.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft-based software.
• Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for elevator repair and upgrades.
• Direct field operations for high-volume non-contract repair and hydraulic modernization.
• Manage sold open order projects and target open order margins.
• Generate field leads and assist service sales in selling open orders.
• Meet project deadlines and financial targets including profit and working capital.
• Conduct field safety audits, site inspections, and develop safety/logistics plans.
• Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders.
• Develop professional relationships with customers, coworkers, and others involved in the job.
• Forecast and schedule labor resources to ensure project completion and quality.
