UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join the Elevator Shop, performing inspection, maintenance and repair of elevators in on-campus and off-campus buildings under supervision. We require three years of hands-on maintenance experience and a focus on safety and quality.
The role supports the campus facilities team with a daytime shift 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some after-hours work.

Description
UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join our Elevator Shop team. As an Elevator Maintenance Mechanic, you'll work under the general direction of the Supervisor of Elevator Maintenance to provide technical skills for inspection, maintenance, and repair of elevators in on-campus and off-campus university buildings.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of three (3) years work experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of commercial elevators, preferably within healthcare, academic, or research institution environments.
An ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills:
Work Location: Dallas Campus; assist other UTSW locations as needed.
Shift Requirement: Availability from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday; some after-hours work as well.
Security This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
