Job summary

Schindler Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Superintendent for New Installations (NI) to oversee all phases of elevator installation projects. You will lead field technicians, coordinate job-site readiness, and serve as primary contact for contractors, customers, and internal teams to support regional objectives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical leadership or elevator industry experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• 5+ years of technical leadership in elevator/construction preferred.
• Strong communication, safety and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: lead field technicians and manage project schedules and resources.
• Quality and Safety: enforce safety standards and conduct site inspections.
• Employee Development, Planning & Logistics: train technicians and allocate logistics for projects.
• Collaboration: coordinate with contractors, sales, project managers and unions.
• Problem Solving: address on-site challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
