Qualifications

About the Apprentice Program

This full‑time, paid position is designed for motivated individuals looking to start a long‑term career. You’ll receive hands‑on training and mentorship from experienced elevator mechanics, learning the skills needed to install and service residential elevators.

Requirements

You must:

• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Be able and willing to travel up to 90% (mostly regional travel from Virginia Beach, VA)
• Be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and doing hard physical work
• Be comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces
• Know how to safely use hand tools
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Bonus if you have:

• Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or elevator industries
• Military background — veterans encouraged to apply!
• A customer‑first attitude and willingness to learn
