Job summary

KONE is seeking a Construction Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for designated projects across multiple US offices. Travel to worksites is required, with a 50% travel expectation.

Required: Bachelor’s in Construction Management or 7+ years in related industry in lieu of degree. 2+ years PM experience; knowledge of the elevator/escalator industry; KONE PM certificate within 6 months of starting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• Contracting & construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of elevator/escalator industry.
• KONE Installation Project Management Certificate required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Project Governance: manage project requirements, permits, testing and inspections.
• Scope Management: handle changes, claims, and change orders per contract.
• Schedule Management: maintain and communicate the project schedule.
• Finance: manage contract value, forecast, and monthly billing.
• Quality Management: ensure installation quality and safety standards.
• Resource Management: oversee resources, subcontractors, and field labor.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: create and manage risk logs.
• Procurement Management: handle subcontracts and vendor management.
• Safety: conduct site audits and training per policy.
• Travel: 50% travel to job sites in the US.
