Job summary

KONE in Orlando, FL is seeking an Elevator Construction Mechanic to install and service elevators with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will work on rails, hoist-way equipment, and associated components, coordinating with contractors and reporting progress to supervision.

The role requires NEIEP program completion, a valid Mechanic Card, and the willingness to obtain FL CET/CC license. You should excel in precise wiring, documentation, and customer-focused on-site service.

Qualifications

• Completed NEIEP program and holding a valid Mechanic Card.
• Willing to procure FL CET/CC license.
• Clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend technical documents and wire/install elevator equipment.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of Elevator installation, including rails, pits, hoist-way equipment, car and counterweight assemblies.
• Manually wiring and installing smaller components such as door tracks and hall buttons.
• Ensure work is performed safely per standards and policies.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, general contractors, and consultants, reporting progress to supervisor.
