Mabe Steel Inc. is seeking a Connector to perform elevated-height connections on active construction sites. You will receive steel from the crane, guide and connect beams, and help maintain project schedules with safe, efficient bolting and assembly.

The role requires comfort with heights, physical stamina for repetitive tasks, and a readiness for outdoor conditions. Welding and OSHA 10 are valued, with potential overtime and travel as projects demand.

Formación

• Experience connecting structural steel is preferred.
• Comfortable working at significant heights and walking on steel.
• Basic welding ability is a major plus; OSHA 10 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work at elevated heights to receive, guide and connect beams, columns and joists as they are flown in by the crane.
• Install initial bolts and make connections safely and quickly, day in and day out.
• Communicate with the rigger, signal person and crane operator throughout each lift.
• Tie off and maintain 100% fall protection while connecting.
• Assist with bolting-up, plumbing and light welding as needed.
