Compass Group USA's Levy brand is seeking a Part Time Chef at our Miami operation to deliver quality food and warm service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Prepares food per recipes, serves guests and follows HACCP and sanitation guidelines, while maintaining daily production sheets and quality checks. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities in a premier venue environment.

Qualifications

• Must prepare items according to production sheets and recipes.
• Must follow HACCP guidelines for safety and quality.
• Ability to obtain daily production schedule from Chef.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Taste meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures.
• Store, label and date all food items per policy.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Take orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
• Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Store, labels and dates all food items according to policy.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
